Friday Fashion Fix: Seeing Green

Outfit Details:
Grey Wool Peplum Top - Asos.com
Oxblood Leggings - Zara
Leather Ankle Booties - Forever 21

The inevitable cold weather in New Jersey has arrived, and I've been left with no choice but to adapt to Mother Nature's seasonable, colder, mood swing.

I'm definitely no stranger to color, and I'm not turning my back on brights, but Fall is a time to embrace a darker color palette. You all know my thoughts on Johnny Cash's favorite color as a wardrobe staple for fall (um, it's black for you non-music enthusiasts out there). While you can wear deep wines and the current favorite, oxblood clothing, accessories are a great way to commit to color in the fall.

Accessories:
Olivia + Joy Lavish Lady Satchel - c/o Olivia + Joy
Deco Strap Bracelet by Henri Bendel
Leather Bow Bracelet by Henri Bendel
Naja Cuff Bracelet by 2 Bandits
Sterling Silver Monogram Necklace - c/o www.BestPersonalizedJewelry.com

My Olivia + Joy Lavish Lady Satchel is the first green handbag I own, but I adore it. I'm often drawn to accessories that sometimes outshine what I'm wearing.

And I'm also a fan of "everyday" jewelry - things that go with everything, that you wear them so much that they start to become an extension of who you are. LOVE pieces that become a part of your personality... My 2 Bandits Naja cuff is totally becoming something I put on everyday, and us fashion bloggers are no stranger to a monogram necklace.

I kinda lucked out with my initials - being that the JJ are my initials, but the "M" is also my middle initial, and my husband's name, Mike. Got all the bases covered.
